This week Vikram K. Malkani joined the Indian Century Roundtable as Associate Director. Vikram is a technology professional with over three decades of experience across a variety of roles in India’s information technology industry, with nearly two decades spent working for one of Australia’s largest banks. Vikram will be taking charge of our newest website feature, “Indian Profiles”.
The Weaponization of Caste Comes to Australia
In late 2023 the Indian Century Roundtable published a report on “The Weaponization of Caste in America that explained how a coalition of Muslim, Sikh, and Dalit civil society organizations was campaigning for laws to explicitly ban caste-based discrimination in the United States. Now that campaign has come to Australia.
